1. The CT Envirothon is a contest that has a forestry component similar to the Forestry CDE in ag. This website has a lot of good resources if you would like to check them out on your own time it would be beneficial. http://www.ctenvirothon.org/studyguides/forestry.shtml

VII. Homework:

• Go outside and look at trees.
• Look at their bark, leaves, twigs and stand.
• Bring in a few leaves from one tree and a twig and/or fruit if you can get them to our next meeting
